Three Primary Colors
For painters, Red, Yellow and Blue are the three primary colors. The reason we call them primary colors is the various combination of these colors can produce other different colors we need for painting. The picture below shows the basic combination of three primary colors.
Mixing Colors
Red + Yellow = Orange
Yellow + Blue = Green
Blue + Red = Purple
Red + Yellow + Blue = Black
Yellow + Blue = Green
Blue + Red = Purple
Red + Yellow + Blue = Black
